- Concrete, asphalt, rock, masonry, sand, dirt
- Cardboard and paper
- Plastic
- Ceiling Tiles
- Wire
- Plaster (NOTE: plaster from lathe & plaster may contain asbestos!)
- Drywall*
- Asphalt roofing*
- Carpeting*
- Stoves, ovens, vent hoods, sinks, garbage disposals, washers, dryers and dishwashers. Refrigerators, freezers and A/C units may be accepted with an extra decomissioning fee.
*Drywall, asphalt roofing, carpeting and other non-recyclable materials may not exceed 10% of any load, by weight.
Prohibited Materials
- Liquids, items containing liquid & saturated material
- Gas-filled containers (e.g. propane)
- Household garbage
- Commercial garbage
- Any load containing more than 10% by weight of non-recyclable materials.
- Hazardous materials or anything containing hazardous materials. We do not accept any materials that are regulated by state or federal environmental or hazardous substance laws.
- Biomedical waste
- Asbestos or materials suspected of containing asbestos
- Lead paint
- Tires
- Fluorescent light bulbs
- Batteries
- Burned materials
- Treated or painted wood
- Utility/Telephone poles
- Materials that present a risk to our employees, our equipment or our facility at the discretion of the Site Supervisor.
